Subtitles for Comics?

Subtitles for Comics?

Postby herguven » Wed May 25, 2016 4:39 pm

Hi, I'm new here, and I don't know if this is something already discussed here. My idea is a new subtitle feature for non-english readers. Those readers have to wait until their favorite comics are translated commercially or by amateur translators, but in either case, it takes a long time. Translation part is rather easy, but inserting the translations to speech bubbles requires some skill, time and patience. This feature may allow preparing a subtitle file, which will show the translation of the text in the speech bubble in a seperate pop-up window when you hover over the text, or double tap it on mobile devices. I have no idea how this can be done, or if it's possible with your platform, but I just wanted to let people know of this idea. Please let me know your thoughts about this.

CDisplay Ex could support ACBF format which provides text-layers for transalations. More info: http://acbf.wikia.com/wiki/Advanced_Com ... ormat_Wiki
