Strange behaviour in double-page mode

Strange behaviour in double-page mode

Postby lastninja2 » Thu Jan 15, 2015 2:43 pm

Hi everyones,
I'm scanning my old comics for my children and there's something weird I can not fix.
I'm using the cover option plus the double page option, so I have page1 and then pages 2-3 and then page 4-5 and so on.
The problem is that sometimes cdisplayex shows one page per time instead of two pages toghether.
Is there a size limit?
This is a test part of one of my comic

As you can see renaming the cbz in zip file inside there are almost the very same size pictures.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks and regards from Venezia, Italia

Me again :P
Maybe I've found a clue. It depends on comic format.
E.g. This is a a comic (actually with stunning illustrations by Roberto Innocenti ;) ) sized 26cm x 25cm so almost like a SQUARE and cdisplayex DO NOT show two pages together

This is another comic with huge format sized 29cm x 39cm so a RECTANGLE and cdisplayex DO SHOW two pages together, even if larger than the previous one.

In my opinion cdisplayex try to recognize if the two pages option is necessary or not, and sometimes it did wrong.
I saw that also another software (comicrack) has the same behaviour.
There's a way to force the two pages option?
